“2024 CAF Awards: Comprehensive List of Nominees”
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of nominees for the 2024 awards, set to take place on December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco. The evaluation period covers January to October 2024.
Each category features ten nominees. Notably, South African goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is recognized in all three categories: Player of the Year, CAF Goalkeeper of the Year, and CAF Interclub Player of the Year.
Winners will be selected through voting by a varied panel, including members of the CAF Technical Committee, media representatives, and the Head Coaches and Captains of Member Associations, along with clubs competing in the interclub competitions’ group stages.
The nominees for the women’s categories will be announced soon.
